La Monda is a community of people who want to concretely experience a form of sociality inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s teachings. It is located in Arcisate, in the province of Varese, and it includes an area of more than 83,000 square metres, partly used for cultivation and partly covered by a forest, and some habitable buildings of about 2,000 square metres.

The cooperative houses various types of fragile persons, trying to create the conditions for them to recognise and build their own original life path. The guests till the soil, using a method based on a deep connection with nature and attunement to its pace, which allows them to produce good and healthy food.

La Monda, as a place and as a social and cultural reality, is intended to be an asset for its local area and to establish meaningful relationships and collaborations both with different public and private entities and with individual citizens and families. The grant from IMPact Foundation was earmarked to cover part of the operating expenses of Cooperativa Agricola La Monda.
