Wamba onlus was founded in 2004 and works in the field of caring and clinical research, providing funds and professional expertise. It supports people with neuromuscular diseases such as SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and muscular dystrophies. It also supports clinical research projects on paediatric muscle diseases, as well as specialised and psychological care programmes in wards and at home.
